In addition to being a group of people who love to garden and talk about it, the club has been, and continues to be, an integral part of the community. It contributes time and funds to
the Elmhurst YMCA, Elmhurst Public Schools programs, the Park District, the Elmhurst College Arboretum, and is working toward the establishment of a children's garden at the new Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Club meetings are held each month at the Wilder Mansion and all are welcome. To join the Elmhurst Garden Club, simply mail in the membership form. We look forward to seeing you.
The Garden Club sponsors the Garden Walk to fulfill its mission to stimulate, encourage, aid, and further horticultural education, conservation and landscape design. In addition to its community efforts, the Elmhurst Garden Club has established the Mildred Hartney College Scholarship Fund which dispurses scholarships to college students majoring in Horticulture, Enviromental Studies, Biology, Botany and other related sciences.Follow the link here for a Mildred Hartney College Scholarship Application
